Overview

Our review of your evacuation exercise is designed to observe your response to a critical incident and provide extensive feedback to your organisation. ComSafe will observe and provide a report for your organisations records.

In accordance with Australian Standards 3745-2010, Planning for emergencies in facilities and AS 4083-2010, Planning for emergencies in Health Care facilities at least one evacuation drill should be conducted on your site every 12 months.

An evacuation checklist will be provided at the conclusion of the evacuation exercise for compliance purposes. The purpose of conducting an emergency evacuation observation is to assist personnel to know their roles and responsibilities in an emergency situation in accordance with the workplace plan and procedures, and to test the workforce response to an emergency.

  • Observe a Chief Warden lead evacuation exercise
  • Discuss outcomes of simulated evacuation
  • Provides a comprehensive report that critiques the evacuation exercise against outcomes and suggests improvements to the plan and procedures
